Originally from Rapid City, SD, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Montana in 1975 and a Juris Doctorate at University of South Dakota in 1977. He is admitted to practice in all South Dakota courts, the South Dakota Federal District Court, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. TJ is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of South Dakota, the American Association for Justice, the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association of Elder Care Attorneys and the Academy of Special Needs Planners.
